I am packing for a quick weekend trip to the Philippines and as I scan my closet for warm weather clothing, I realize how much clutter I have accumulated over the years after moving here in NY. I arrived here 3 years ago carrying only 2 suitcases, now all my stuff could probably fit 20-30 suitcases!
Nobody can be sentimental in New York as far as I know. When I think about clutter, I equate it to sentimentality. Think about all the random crap people keep "just because". Homeless people in shelters in NY are in luck, imagine all the brand-name clothing and accessories they receive from shameless Upper East Side moms who spend money on designer clothing faster than I can say "Michael Kors".
So today, as painful as it is, I packed one luggage full of "random crap" I know I will just stare at and never use anytime soon. These are mostly clothing that are not fit for NY weather or clothes that are too tight or too loose for my taste. I will bring them to Manila back where it used to belong, my old closet. Right where the sentimental lives.

Love Hate Relationship
I continue my love-hate relationship with my job. Today, I got a free 8GB iPod Nano, because the company did very well last year. Very nice surprise. Everyone in the office got one. I'll skip the relationship details, but today it's LOVE.
